We offer several program options designed to build self-esteem, promote leadership and teamwork, and encourage respect for one's self and for others.

Adventure Education Course Facts (PDF)

YMCA Camp Eberhart uses the "Voluntary Participation" philosophy in all Adventure programs. No one is coerced or forced to attempt anything that he/she does not want to do. We do, however, make every attempt to encourage individuals to achieve goals that initially they thought were not possible.

Adventure Recreation

This program is designed for fun. From youth groups to corporate groups, people like to have fun. When is the last time your group got outdoors and had fun together? Come out to YMCA Camp Eberhart for a day spent on the High Ropes Course, Climbing Tower, Low Ropes Course, or choose from 25 other available programs. The main focus of the day is to provide an exciting and memorable group experience.

Jumpstart

For groups that are just forming, this program helps members get to know each other. It allows participants to break down initial barriers and get excited about performing as a team. Based on your group, a YMCA Camp Eberhart facilitator will design a day filled with fun activities that create group bonding.

Adventure Leadership

This program is designed to bring out leadership qualities and teach participants to use them to accomplish group goals in constructive ways. While participants are being challenged, the leadership traits emerge. By identifying these traits, the group can rely on the leadership strengths of their members to overcome challenges. YMCA Camp Eberhart's facilitator will transfer the experience back to real life, which reinforces participant's leadership qualities.

Corporate Training

Effectively develop your organization's most valuable resource - its employees. Corporate Training is designed to promote individual growth among employees, leading to enhanced communication in the workplace and expanded awareness of coworkers capabilities. The program also helps to provide increased levels of trust among employees.

Traveling Adventure

In this program, a facilitator from the Adventure Program will visit your venue to lead fun and challenging activities. Your time will be spent doing activities that practice skills such as leading, trusting, planning, communication, teamwork, cooperation, perseverance, support and expression.

Ski At School

Bring the adventure of Cross Country Skiing to your school! We will teach the history and basics of Cross Country Skiing to your students or you can rent the equipment and teach them yourself.
